Challenge
Build, mentor and support UX team responsible for designing DOL/ECOMP a large suite of apps supporting injured federal workers.
Client: US Department of Labor / Intevity
Responsibilities
• 10+ year engagement spanning multiple roles
• Strategic consultant to program leadership, UX Team Coach, Lead UX Designer and Information Architect
• During Covid, responsible for UX design on rapid-response program expansion
• Platform-level UX Strategy and Information Architecture
• Responsible for growing, mentoring and improving performance of interdisciplinary team of UX managers, researchers and designers
• Collaborated with engineering to implement design & development best practices
• Worked with SMEs to devise core case workflows, user journeys
• Designs, wireframes and prototypes for 100+ web & mobile screens
• Initial user-facing product vision and front-end coding
